This qualification is an Entry Level 1 , designed to help learners develop key personal skills, qualities as well as attitudes required by employers. The qualification is a credit based system , which means i that awards and certificates can be achieved on the way to the diploma. The units are not static, but selected on the learner's strengths, to achieve maximum results.

We will also provide you with a work experience placement 2 days per week.
GCSE Mathematics and English Language
Gateway delivers both Maths and English Language at GCSE level .(OCR)
We also offer Functional Skills Maths and English (OCR)
We also offer an alternative route to improve and acquire Maths and English Skills, especially for students who did not achieve a C grade (new 4/5) in either Maths or English.
This qualification is delivered from Entry Level to Level 2 and is a route for young people to develop amths and english kills to do either GCSE'S or Functional Skills Qualifications.The assessment for English and Maths skills is by compiling a portfolio of evidence , which means there is no final exam , but work is continually assessed both internally and externally.Teaching takes place in small groups and additional support can be offered on a 1:1 basis.
